Here is the story of Trevor and Steph and her story on how she became a Baldie and how her husband loved her regardless of her baldness. Thank you two for sharing your story with us and showing our ladies that it is possible to find love, even with a bald head.

Are you bald by choice, or bald by circumstance? If by circumstance, please explain.

I am bald by circumstance. I developed alopecia (an autoimmune disease that causes your immune system to attack your hair follicles) during my freshman year of high school and have remained bald ever since.

Your Anniversary / How long have you been together?
We were married on 6/10/16 and have been together since 2012

So tell us, how did you you two meet? The more you tell us, the better!

Trevor and I initially met through mutual friends at a football tailgate in college. It wasn't until we met again a few months later while studying for finals in the library, that we started hanging out and eventually dated.

Did you know about your partners baldness from the beginning, or did she have to tell you with time?

Apparently, Trevor knew about my alopecia from our mutual friends but it didn't come up in conversation until we had gone on a few dates, as I routinely wore a wig. Eventually, I brought up the "elephant in the room" which was awkward, but he was very understanding and said I looked beautiful. After that, it took me a few months to be comfortable with letting him see me without my wig. Fast forward six years--we are happily married and I have never been more confident or proud to hear Trevor call me a "bald bombshell".

What do you love most about your partner being a baldie?

I love her intelligence, compassion, drive, and humor. I am constantly amazed by her confidence and beauty both inside and out.
