![]() Tell us a bit about your decision to cut your hair or why you went bald? Originally when I first went bald I was at a very strange time in my life. I was stressed about making bills, I was stressed about the relationship I was in, and I was stressed about who I was because I was still figuring that out. One night when I was feeling very lost I looked at myself in the mirror and didn't see me anymore. So as a reaction to that I wanted to see the real me, no makeup, no clothes, no hair. So I shaved my head down and just stood in front of the mirror. The feeling I got, to me, was what I imagine scientists feel when they discover a ground breaking break through. It was the purest form of myself I have ever found. That was 4 years ago, I don't plan on ever going back. Do you feel you've changed for the better since you went bald? Absolutely. Being bald has brought awareness into my life. I now notice and question societal standards a lot more. I can empathize with people who did not have a choice in being a baldie, and add as much encourage and advice as I can. It makes me feel incredibly strong. What words of encouragement would you share with someone who isn't confident with themselves as you are? At the end of the day with hair or not you are the only you there is. You should be more proud of that than anything. Your hair does not make you who you are, you do. Embrace your struggles. It can be something incredibly hard to go though, but I always find if I make something as lighthearted as possible things feel easier. So buy a cute bald shirt, get an amazing crazy wig, wear make you normally would, and build the best gat collection Finish this sentence: (My) Bald is Confidence
