![]() I am bald by choice. I had been sporting a mohawk for about 6 years. I REEEEEALLLY like dying my hair...like a whole bunch. So after years of abusing what hair I had, I decided to just shave it off with the intention of growing it out healthy. I shaved my head previously for pretty much the same reason. I've had every colour and style in the book. Mainly ponytail when it was long. Which is another reason I had lobbed most of it off. What's the point of having long hair if you're just going to wear the same style? I've never really been attatched to my hair. I've never had long, luxurious locks. In fact, my hair is quite fine and looks terrible long. My boyfriend is a professional photographer. I'm fully immersed in a world of photos of beautiful girls with flowing tresses. I've never been one to follow a trend. I like to do my own thing, and don't really care what the general public thinks. I've also found that being bald in my 30's has brought out my feminine side. I like wearing make-up more often. I even learned how to do a winged liner! I really enjoy the freedom of being bald. I'm learning how to tie head scarves (it can be -40 C where I live). And I have dyed my stubble a couple times too. I hope more girls embrace this look. This lifestyle. And I hope I can inspire and uplift and do the movement proud.
