Tell us a bit about your decision to cut your hair or why you are bald?
When I Was 3 I Was Diagnosed With Alopecia. I Lost All My Hair After I Was Diagnosed. My Dad Would Tell Me Stories About How He Would Comb My Hair & It Would Just Come Right Out So He Tried Not To Comb It. Growing Up I Was Always Bullied & Teased Because I Didnt Have Hair Like The Rest Of The Kids. I Would Go Home To My Dad & Be Upset Because The Kids Picked On Me. My Nickname Was "SCALP". As I Got Older My Aunt Told Me To Not Let That Be My Weakest Point For Them To Bring Me Down. So After That I Stopped Caring What People Said About Me & I Started To Love Myself More & Love The Fact That I Was Different. I Recently Joined A Group Called SLWA "Sisters Living With Alopecia". I Love Being Apart Of It. I Love Being Around People Who Are Similar To Me. We Have Photo Shoots & Do Alot Of Activities. Im Proud To Say That I Am A Soldier Walking In Gods Army & He Gives His Hardest Battles To His Strongest Soldiers & Im A Walking Testimony Of It.
What words of encouragement would you share with someone who isn't confident with themselves as you are?
Dont Beat Yourself Up About It Because God Made You The Way You Are For A Reason. Your Not Going To Change So Learn To Accept Who You Are & Be Proud, Embrace Your Beauty.
