Tell us a bit about your decision to cut your hair or why you went bald? I have Alopecia an Autoimmune hair loss disease. June before my freshman year of high school my hair started falling out and by August I was bald. Two and a half months was all it took. To change almost everything and everyone in my life.
Do you feel you've changed for the better since you went bald? Yes, I feel stronger and more accepting of myself and others. I have a much more open mind as does my family and friends. My confidence is better then ever.
What words of encouragement would you share with someone who isn't confident with themselves as you are? Don't be ashamed of what fate has made you. Life's a bitch if it were easy we'd call it a slut. What others think you doesn't matter all that matters is what you think of yourself.
Finish this sentence: (My) Bald is not by choice. But being open with who I am and what I look like is a choice I've made I don't cover up my baldness, I don't hide it and I never will because life is to beautiful to hide in the shadows. Being bald does not define who I am. Hair is an accessory fate decided I didn't need and I'm much more accepting if it now. #BeYou
